We’re extremely proud to announce an alliance between Herbily Ever After™ and Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation! “We wanted to find an established, local cancer charity in the Denver area that we felt comfortable to get behind and support,” says Herbily Ever After, CEO, Steve Walker.
“Our Director of Public Affairs, Laura Elliott, was herself diagnosed with small cell cervical carcinoma in February, 2018 and received exceptional assistance from Ray of Hope. It is from this first-hand experience that Laura endorses “paying it forward,” Making it was a no-brainer for us to get involved with them.
After Laura and Steve met with Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation’s, Executive Director, Audra Fleming, we knew we were both a good fit for each other!
Agreeably it’s a privilege and honor to support such a worthy cause such as Ray of Hope, says Steve enthusiastically. 15% of all CBD sale proceeds will now go to Ray of Hope. Our goal is to walk in alignment with a mutual vision that, “no Colorado cancer patient in need will go without support.”
The Ray of Hope Cancer Foundation responds to the urgent needs of Coloradans with cancer by providing financial assistance with dignity and humanity.
Established in 2002 by oncologist Dr. David Schrier in memory of his patient, Ray Wentz—a courageous teen with a bright smile and twinkle in his eye, who inspired those around him with his bravery and grace. As he received treatment for Hodgkin’s lymphoma, he and his teenage sister struggled to pay rent and buy food. The work we do today allows his positivity and light to shine on.
